Bronx Hip Hop Museum Wins $3.75 Million Grant From New York
The world’s first hip hop museum will be built in The Bronx with the help of a $3.75 million grant from the state of New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Thursday.
“It’s the best Christmas gift ever,” said Universal Hip Hop Museum spokesperson Renee Foster. “It’s like Santa Claus.”
The $80 million museum is slated to open at the newly developing Bronx Point in the South Bronx in 2023, according to its website.
