Hip-Hop Museum in the Bronx Receives $3.5 Million Grant From City

Looks like Christmas came early for the Hip Hop Museum.

On Thursday, Dec 19th, Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo announced that the state will award the Hip Hop Museum, which is still under construction, with a $3.5 million grant to further develop the state of the art exhibit.

“The grant from Governor Andrew Cuomo is a testament to the cultural and economic development importance of the Universal Hip Hop Museum to the borough of the Bronx and the state of New York,” said Rocky Bucano, Executive Director of The Universal Hip Hop Museum in a press release.
