Universal Hip Hop Museum Gets $3.75 Million Grant From New York State
New York state is giving the Universal Hip Hop Museum a $3.75 million state grant, CNN reports.
The grant is a “part of a statewide package of economic and community development funding” and was signed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo last week.The $80 million museum will be built in the Bronx and aims to preserve hip-hop culture at a local and global level. It will feature a performance stage, music, a research space, video, photography and other artifacts.
